Livewire Wins Top Kiosk Industry Excellence Award
Lift ticket-selling kiosks voted “Best of Breed” by industry insiders
Livewire Kiosk announced today that its Ski Lift Ticketing kiosk
network has been chosen as the “Best Retail Kiosk Application”
by the judges of the kiosk industry’s “Interactive Kiosk Excellence Awards”.
This award was given following final judging at the industry’s KioskCom trade
show, held April 8-10, 2003 in Las Vegas. In a March 17th release, the trade
group announced that Livewire was one of the five finalists for this
prestigious honor, including BMW, Okidata, Circle K, and Travel Centers of
America. The award was accepted by Livewire CTO David McCracken on Tuesday
April 8th at a ceremony at the Riviera hotel in Las Vegas.
“The Interactive Kiosk Excellence Awards honor, recognize and promote the best
kiosk implementations over the past year. They showcase the best kiosk
applications and designs for the many industries that currently use
interactive, self-service kiosks,” said KioskCom™ Executive Director, Lawrence
Dvorchik. “The winners set the standards of excellence for future kiosk
implementations.”
